The Princess 60, powerful, elegant and delivering an incredible on-board experience, is now one of the most exciting flybridge yachts on the market thanks to a whole host of exciting improvements for the 2014 season.
The 60’s smart exterior profile has been lifted with an exciting and incredibly deep window line, sharpening the profile and delivering one of the most panoramic views imaginable from the beautifully appointed saloon. Whether seated or standing the view out is simply breathtaking.
Above, a new flybridge layout means the 60 is able to compete with craft several sizes above, with a vast spread of wraparound seating aft, furnished with superyacht-style teak tables set upon chunky stainless steel pedestals. Forward, by the sports helm seats, a separate seating area will convert to a large sunpad, the perfect base for guests wanting to enjoy the ride. The new seating plan has hidden benefits too – below the upholstered bases lies plentiful stowage, with lined-out lockers each with its own hinged lid.
The wall of glass experienced from inside the saloon lights up a new interior layout, featuring a linear port side arrangement that stretches the accommodation out, delivering more seating, cabinetry and space for a 40in pop-up TV.
As with all Princess Flybridge models, the owner’s cabin now enjoys large hull-side windows with a new two-seater sofa the perfect place to experience the water-level vista.
Across the 60’s interior, the level of detail and use of space has been taken to a whole new level with the latest materials and cabinetry employed by the Princess Creative Design Team to deliver a truly luxurious finish. The saloon features a new bar, ice maker and glass cabinet and, as ever, Princess owners can choose from a range of finishes and materials from the floor to the deckhead. The first of the new look 60’s, bound for Moscow, features leather headboards inset with stitched detailing to each of the three ensuite cabins, textured fabric deckhead detailing, soft touch cabinet linings and the latest low-level furniture designs.
Forward of the saloon, the raised dining area now features a more social curve to its design. Positioned by the galley and enjoying that extended window line it is the perfect place to start the day.
Cabinetry is offered in Cherry, Walnut, American Oak and Rovere Oak, each being available in a natural Satin or Gloss finish and all beautifully realised by our craftspeople.
Both helm stations have been redesigned to accommodate the latest electronic navigation systems. With automotive-style layouts, stitched finishing and sculpted, supportive helm seats, the 60’s twin helm stations are suitably equipped to handle the boat’s power and ability, which now includes an uprated twin 1000hp engine option. Across the rev range, the award winning Princess Advanced Deep V hull design will return a positive, assured and rewarding driving experience coupled to excellent efficiency to make the most of this offshore boat’s cruising capabilities.
