With 12 yachts on display, including 5 global launches, the Southampton International Boat Show continues to be the one to stand out in our events calendar. No doubt, the forecast of two weeks of sunshine helped also, with a heatwave coming over the UK.
Princess Motor Yacht Sales and her dealer partners experienced one of the busiest boat shows to date in Southampton, with people queuing to get on board some of the yachts on display including the brand new Princess V55. The innovative design of this particular boat is something that has been highly anticipated for some time from Princess Yachts, with its configurable layout and a glass patio door which seamlessly disappears below the deck. Alongside the global launch of the V55, guests to the boat show also enjoyed global launches of the brand new upgrades to their predecessors – the Y78, S66 and S62. The Princess F50 also enjoyed her global launch at the show, presenting a versatile Flybridge yacht built to suit everyone’s needs.
With a beautiful display of Princess yachts ranging from the Princess R35 to the Princess Y85, there was certainly a buzz on the pontoon with crowds of people coming to get a glimpse of the new models as well as the more established. This range of models by Princess Yachts gave an interesting insight into the differences in modern design and technology between each class of yacht, exquisitely distinguishing them against each other and giving guests the ability to compare with ease.
During the Southampton Boat Show, we held our annual customer dinner at the beautiful Harbour Hotel, overlooking the Ocean Village marina. Guests enjoyed drinks on the terrace as the sun went down, before a three-course meal and music, giving everyone the opportunity to socialise and get to know each other, reminiscing on a great season of boating.
Princess Motor Yacht Sales and her dealer partners are pleased to report record sales from our September boat shows in Cannes and Southampton. We are looking forward to ending the year on a high, and kicking off 2020 with Dusseldorf Boat Show in January.
