The latest 40M to leave the Princess shipyard, M/Y X5 has been honoured with the title of Best Worldwide Semi Custom Built Yacht (25m and above) at the annual Asia Pacific Boating Awards.
X5 is the fourth 40M built by Princess and features a bespoke interior concept which was curated by Fendi Casa and the Princess Design Studio. Gloss cherry wood contrasts against classic cream leathers, fabrics and furniture to give a feeling of timeless luxury. Further accents of bright velvets and satins add an element of colour and personality to each stateroom.
Bespoke Fendi furniture, seating, lighting, fabrics and accessories can be seen across the main deck saloon. A spacious dining area can accommodate up to 10 guests around a macassar ebony table which is accented by a unique backlit Onyx panel to the bulkhead.
The main deck master stateroom features a private dressing area, his and hers walk-in wardrobes and a full beam bathroom.
On the upper deck a generous sky lounge with expansive windows provides the most breath-taking views out and a large ‚L‘ shaped seating area and entertainment system creates the perfect lounge area.
Across the lower deck four beautifully appointed en suite guest cabins can accommodate eight guests with each one adorned with Fendi fabrics, furniture and accessories across different colour schemes.
The Asia Pacific Boating Award is the second accolade for Princess‘ flagship 40M. Hull #1 was awarded the World Superyacht Award in 2013 while Hull #3 M/Y Solaris has been nominated for a 2015 World Superyacht Award.
The success of the 40M tri-deck superyacht has firmly cemented Princess‘ position in the 100ft plus market with the fifth 40M currently in her final stages of fit-out with hulls #6 and #7 also in build.
Princess will further expand the M Class range with the launch of the eagerly anticipated Princess 30M and 35M later this year.
