Information correct as of November 2017.
From September this year, all new Princess yachts are to be provided with access to medical and security assistance across the globe.
Princess Lifeline, powered by global emergency response service MedAire, is a 24/7 international SOS service that provides round the clock global access to medical and travel safety experts, real time travel safety information and primary contact during the trip.
Every Princess yacht will now come with the 2-year Princess Lifeline cover as standard, ensuring the safety and well- being of both owners and guests while travelling.
Ahead of embarking on any journey, customers will be able to contact Princess Lifeline for medical and safety recommendations, as well as gaining specific travel risk intelligence. They can also call to get immediate medical assistance while at sea or ashore; from advice on how to treat the sick or injured, to arranging transport and appointments at onshore medical facilities.
The move to partner with MedAire, one of the world’s leading yachting specific providers of travel safety solutions, is the first time any luxury yacht manufacturer has offered this type of service to its customers and crew.
Executive chairman for Princess Yachts, Antony Sheriff, said the yacht builder prides itself “on providing the best service for our owners – from design through to delivery, and the well-being of our customers is paramount”.
“The partnership with MedAire will not only ensure all our owners and crews have access to the best medical and security advice and support, but will help guarantee our customers have an exceptional experience onboard their yacht, wherever they are in the world,” he stressed.
The cover remains with the yacht purchased, even when it has been sold on, and for an additional cost, can be extended beyond the initial two years.
Full details and an information pack will be sent directly to the owners of new yachts qualifying for the cover. If you would like to know more, please contact our sales team directly, on +44 (0)1489 557755 or email [email protected]
