The Princess Y Class: featuring the new Y72 and Y95

The luxurious Princess Y Class is made up of four motor yachts, each with their own distinct personality – here we take a deeper look at the new Princess Y72 and the flagship, the Y95.

Princess Y72

We received a first look at the all-new Princess Y72 in Summer 2020, with exciting computer-generated imagery released of her stunning interior and bold exterior. She offers style and class, whilst remaining classically Princess. In January 2021, the first of this new motor yacht embarked on her initial sea trials in Plymouth with very promising results. Developed with the latest iteration of the traditional Princess/Olesinski designed hull form, the trials of the first Y72 are extremely encouraging.

As for the interior styling of the Y72, Princess has thought of everything. A seamless transition from her bathing platform, through her cockpit and into the main saloon is incredibly inviting. Modern and classic tones matched with light woods and large panoramic windows create an enviable onboard space to while away those long summer days. The new Y72 has been designed with flexibility in mind, ensuring every future owner’s needs are met. Complemented by a state-of-the-art Naim audio system, her main saloon combines a sociable bar area and open galley. Eight guests can be comfortably accommodated across four beautiful cabins, each with their own accessible en suite. Taking pride of place is the full-beam master stateroom – enjoying its own private access from the main saloon via a spiral staircase, this room is exclusive and private. Aft, there is the all-important crew accommodation should you require, or this could serve as an additional guest cabin.

Princess Y95

The flagship of the Y Class – the Princess Y95. She has been crafted with an emphasis on performance and inspired styling. With the latest hull form and an efficient wave-piercing bow, she will provide class-leading seakeeping, reaching speeds up to 25 knots. Her evolved exterior styling features the longest and most expansive hull windows ever installed on a Princess yacht, whilst her spacious indoor and outdoor living spaces are comparable to those of larger craft.

Configurable layout options throughout and a new interior design language await, with the guidance of your own Princess Design Consultant to assist with defining your vision. With an interior volume comparable to a Princess M Class, her main deck features a full beam master stateroom with skylights and is complemented by four further well appointed en-suite guest cabins.
