We are pleased to announce the Global Debut of the all-new 2022 model Princess V50 deck saloon at the upcoming Düsseldorf Boat Show, held from 22nd – 30th January.
Visitors to the show will now not only see a Global Debut of the Princess X80, show debuts of the X95 and Princess Y72, but now they can be the first to see the all-new Princess V50 – the latest model to be announced by Princess Yachts.
It’s only right that the heart of the V Class is redesigned with the forward-thinking innovation of Princess Yachts. She has been designed by the Princess Design Studio in collaboration with naval architects Olesinski and Italian design house, Pininfarina. Featuring all-new hull, deck and canopy moulds, Princess has redefined one of the core models in the range in line with styles seen in the new Princess X Class. At the heart of her deep-V hull are twin Volvo Penta IPS600 or IPS650 engines; compact yet highly efficient they deliver steady speeds in excess of 30 knots. Plus, increased fuel capacity means an extended cruising range, so owners can enjoy more time at sea and travel even further than they could before. As for the Princess V50’s technology, this has seen an overhaul too. She has been upgraded with the very latest in Volvo Penta and Garmin systems, creating a smoother and more intuitive driving experience.
All-new Princess V50: Interior styling
The Princess V50 is characterised by her sleek styling, with a new extended full length window stretching across her hull. The cockpit arrangement and bathing platform have been rethought, with guests now able to maximise the outdoor living space with practical access and an elongated canopy creating a comfortable, shaded area to relax. Large sliding patio doors separate the deck saloon from the cockpit to create a climate-controlled sanctuary, featuring a U-shaped dining area with concealed TV, and further forward comfortable helm seats with an electrically-operated sunroof above.
Below deck, a bright and modern galley awaits – designed both with aesthetics and practicality in mind – it features a two-zone ceramic hob, combination microwave/oven and a full height fridge-freezer. Opposite, a generous U-shaped seating area is perfect for dining in the evenings, whilst it can easily be converted into an extra berth if required. Otherwise, there are two beautifully appointed guest cabins sleeping four on board, with a full-beam master stateroom located amidships.
This V50 combines the very best in open and closed deck cruising, allowing for year-round use no matter the location. She is sure to suit a number of owners and their lifestyle requirements, and we’re certain she will be a very popular model. Following successful sea trials at the home of Princess Yachts in Plymouth, the all-new V50 will make her way to Düsseldorf to be on display amongst a fantastic line-up.
