Earlier this week, the second Princess 40M to be built by Princess Yachts International lit up the St Petersburg skyline on its way to being delivered to a client in Russia.
The first Princess 40M, Imperial Princess, launched in 2012 and won the coveted 2013 World Superyachts award. This boat cemented Princess’s reputation as a world-leading designer and manufacturer of technically advanced yachts in the 100 ft plus marketplace.
Designed with comfort and entertaining in mind, the second 40M accommodates up to twelve guests in complete privacy, as well as seven crew. Constructed to the highest superyacht standards, the emphasis was on maximizing the expanse of interior and exterior living space. Clever interior remodelling to remove non-structural columns within the spacious and open saloon has served to create sufficient space for a grand dining table to comfortably accommodate large numbers of guests.
To satisfy customer demand for larger Princess yachts, the new Princess 35M will be added to the M CLASS range in 2014.
