Two Princess yachts showed their class, coming out top in two categories of the 2015 Motor Boat Awards.
The brand new Princess S72, launched in 2014, was awarded the coveted prize in the over 55ft category. The S72 is the first of the new S Class Sportbridge yachts, combining the sleek lines of a sports yacht, with the practicality of her extensive living space, and flybridge. In less than a year, she has already received much acclaim – the award yesterday, evidence of her outstanding class, amongst rival yachts in this category.
In the Sportscruiser over 45ft category, make way for the Princess V48 Open. With her open top, spacious outdoor seating area, and extensive sunbathing platform, she’s the perfect vessel for the outdoor lifestyle and we think, a worthy winner. The V48 Open was launched at the Cannes Boat Show in 2013, and was nominated for European Power Boat of the Year 2014. This time, she has truly landed the prize, and as one of our best selling yachts, we’re not at all surprised.
The award ceremony was held at the Landmark hotel in Marylebone, and attended by guests from across the industry, including of course, the team from Princess, who were thrilled to accept not just one, but two, major awards!
